Home Tour

Our home is in a constant state of change. Babies are growing out of toys and equipment and it seems like I'm moving things around or redecorating a room every week. It can be fun, but it can also be frustrating. I'm pretty frugal and am always looking for inexpensive ways to make things a little prettier.

This is my home tour. I've been wanting to do this for a while now but haven't had the time to clean and photograph everything so I'm just starting my home tour page by compiling some photos of the house that I already have on hand.

Our home is small. It's not fancy. It's not filled with expensive furniture or art. It's just a building to keep us safe from harm. A place for us to rest, serve, and enjoy life's blessings. A blessing in itself, I try to not take it for granted. I try to teach the children that we need to be responsible with our blessings and take care of them. Since they're girls, I'd like for them to be able to furnish, decorate, and care for their homes in a responsible way.

Lets start in the den. The house is definitely a work in progress and the den is no exception. I have lots of fabulous ideas for this space and slowly but surely they are coming together. I'm working on two photo gallery walls in this room. One is over the couch (pictured) and the other is over the piano.

This is our overcrowded playroom, which is technically the same room as the den, but this side is hidden behind the couch.

Through the white folding door in the playroom, you'll find my office. It looks good here but it's usually a mess.

Next stop is the master bedroom/baby nursery. Small. Simple.

Our back door opens up into a mud/laundry room.

The outdoor spaces are probably our favorite thing about our home. We love being outside. More to come!!
